Mt. Hood Highway
Started off 2016 snow shoeing up the freshly snow covered slopes of Mt. Hood. The mountains really know how to make one feel alive!

First Light
Hiking up the Timberline Trail toward McNeil point, this is the first view of Mt. Hood. On this breezy, zub zero degree morning in late November of 2014, I was very lucky to pop out of the tree cover just as the sun was about to crest over the mountain.

Lostine Valley
The Lostine river winding it's way through the Lostine Valley with Eagle Cap Mountain in the distance. The Wallowa Mountains are truly a special place.

Trillium Lake
Trillium Lake lies just South of Mt. Hood and is a very popular camping and recreation spot. This photo was taken just before the sun came down on a chili, mosquito filled evening in early July. On the slopes of the mountain you can see the lights of Timberline Lodge and of the snow cats that are grooming the Palmer snowfield.
