Trillium Lake lies just South of Mt. Hood and is a very popular camping and recreation spot. This photo was taken just before the sun came down on a chili, mosquito filled evening in early July. On the slopes of the mountain you can see the lights of Timberline Lodge and of the snow cats that are grooming the Palmer snowfield.
This photo was taken in the late Fall of 2012 just before the first big snow fall at Crater Lake. Getting up before the first light isn't always the easiest thing to do, but on the morning I was rewarded with on of the most colorful sunrises that I have ever witnessed.
Taken during January of 2015, this photo shows the stark contrast between economic conditions that exist in Portland, with the dilapidated boat in the foreground, serving as someones home, to the high rise apartment buildings and luxury boats across the Willamette river.
