Ramona Falls
Ramona Falls lies within the Mt. Hood National Forest just west of Mt. Hood. A short hike brings you to an amazing spectacle of glacier melt cascading down a wall of columnar basalt, remnants of an ancient lava flow.

Just a Tree...
Going for a walk one evening I came upon this tree at just the right angle to catch some dramatic shadows in the grass as the sun was heading down for the day.

It's Not A Dream
This is Ferry Falls along the Wahkeena Trail in the Columbia Gorge. I was practically standing in the waterfall for this one. Me and my gear got pretty wet, so I found it amazing that I didn't get any droplets on my lens.

Trillium Lake
Trillium Lake lies just South of Mt. Hood and is a very popular camping and recreation spot. This photo was taken just before the sun came down on a chili, mosquito filled evening in early July. On the slopes of the mountain you can see the lights of Timberline Lodge and of the snow cats that are grooming the Palmer snowfield.

Economic Contrast
Taken during January of 2015, this photo shows the stark contrast between economic conditions that exist in Portland, with the dilapidated boat in the foreground, serving as someones home, to the high rise apartment buildings and luxury boats across the Willamette river.

A Veiw of the Past
This old rundown shack lies just outside of Canby Oregon. The fog on this February morning in 2015 gave me just the feel I was looking for with this shot. I've driven by here many times just waiting for the right conditions.

Textures of Abiqua
This is a traditional composition of Abiqua Falls. You really can't take a bad picture of this waterfall from any angle. This particular side of the falls seems to be where all of the mist heads off to. Which is great because all of the rocks are covered with thick, green moss... But keeping droplets off of your lens can be tricky. My camera was pretty much soaked while setting up this shot. My little microfiber towel was working overtime...
