This photo was taken just after Thanksgiving of 2014 along the Timberline Trail heading up to McNeil Point, Mt. Hood. On this particular morning there was a gorgeous fresh carpet of snow covering everything. While it was very beautiful, it was also very cold and windy. The wind chill was near or below zero degrees Fahrenheit. The wind was pushing a stream of clouds over this particular ridge. The moisture was freezing instantly to anything it came into contact with, creating breathtaking scenes like this one.
